Reaction Paper on the Deconstruction in Thank You Ma'am

“There are a million acts of kindness each day.  Some young man gives a stranger a compliment, or a teacher brightens a student’s morning.  But, in the world we live in today, these acts are rare to come by.  In this short story Thank You, Ma’am, the boy, out of mysterious luck, gets taken in by the woman whom he was trying to steal a purse from.  Her actions, following the incident towards the boy, may have seemed very kind and understanding, but the boy needs a more solid way of punishment.  He requires discipline that will show him that as complicated as life is, there will not always be someone for you to lean and depend on. The first and most foremost thing that would come to mind when reading this story is how caring Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones was, that she took in the boy and nurtured him; she tried to teach him between right and wrong.”…….. In the story “Thank You Ma’am” I learn many things especially how the woman treated the boy who tried to steal her purse. He didn’t even hurt the boy, she just comforts him and she gave him food to eat. The women tell the boy not to steal things from others. She told him the right way and she disciplined the boy. She gave the boy a chance to prove himself that he can be trusted and good to others. The story is very touching and amazing. You can learn a lot of things in this story.

Reflective Essay

It is very hard to make blog in our own especially if you have no computer in your home.  I did my best to make this project to enhance my skills and to make myself proud in making this wonderful project. I learn a lot of things in making this blog like editing and posting essays and also I learn more difficult words. 

What Christmas Means to Me?

            All of us celebrate Christmas. Once in a year, we celebrate it because it is the birthday of Jesus Christ. Around the world, we celebrate Christmas in different ways. So what truly Christmas means?
            When I think of Christmas, I think of good things. We are supposed to love each other and have a nice time. Actually, Christmas is not about getting stuff of getting things you want…No. Christmas is the best time for me. It brings family and friends together. Christmas means a joyful time of a year. It is my favorite holiday. Do you know why? Because it is Jesus’ birthday, the birth of our savior, our Lord and King. On that day, the wise men and all the shepherds came to the stable to see Jesus. And they celebrate the birth of Jesus. Christmas means having fun with your family, spending time with them, giving gifts for other people, seeing all the beautiful lights, decorating the Christmas tree and eating all the food you can eat!
            And I wish everyone is happy, spending time with their love ones, going to church and celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ. That’s what Christmas means to me.

Our Values Today

            Nowadays, I notice that our values are different from our values in the past. You know, there are some changes of our values this time. Our values today are affected by this phenomenon.

            For me, having at least one value is a great pleasure to me. Some people now have almost all the values which they share to others. Even though that I have only one value which can make other people happy, I will develop this kind of value and I will share this value to my relatives, friends, classmates and to other people around to have peace and to make them realize that this kind of value could lead them to the heavens in the coming age.

            I hope that this practice would be done with a pure heart and would not be forgotten by the people. I am sure that if God will come He will be happy looking at His chosen people having good values.

Perfect World

 We are changing… this is what I feel. The world has changed, covered with darkness and full of disasters. U never thought why it happened in this wonderful and perfect world.

I want to make a change, especially to myself. I want to make myself into a better person. I’m just a simple guy trying to find the real me, seeking for the truth and trying to change my whole self especially my attitudes, I’ll find myself in the heart of truth and goodness and trust. This is the key to change myself. If  I’ll find  myself, happiness will fill my heart. And also, I will study hard to achieve my dreams and to help my parents.

Another thing to change is our society. People changed a lot. They are not good as before and I guess things are not how they used to be because no normal families, pollution and crimes and many more. If we will make a change, there’s a possibility that all people will unite and our society will be better as before. Peace of each other is the key to open the heart of all people to make a change and to make a better society.

We need to change everything. One of the most hated topic of the world today is the corruption and the politics in our nation. Politicians are taking everything. They are taking our dreams and they tear them all. They think we are just toys. We are a nightmare, a disaster. That’s what they always said. If our leaders changed themselves, this will be the end of corruption and to achieve the dreams of every Filipinos.

The world that we all know is going to end. The disasters, typhoons, flood, landslides and earthquakes that the world encounter ed are the signs that the end is coming. We  can save our world from these disasters by helping each other, proper disposal of  garbage ,planting trees and many more.

We should make a change to see a brighter future. If we make this one, surely, all of us will live happily ever after.

My Teacher, My Hero

“Teacher"- a hardworking person that teaches us good lessons to improve and to learn great things to achieve our dreams. Being a teacher is too hard. They are too busy doing such things for the students to understand the importance of education. And also, teachers is no ordinary work. Overtimes, lesson plans, everything…just to teach us. But students just don’t mind them. Students don’t appreciate their work. We don’t give time to know them. But for me, a teacher is my hero. And you just don’t know why they keep on doing this just for us.

We all know that heroes save lives. All people like them. They know that heroes keep them away from danger. Just like what teachers do. A teacher doesn’t save people from danger but they save us good characteristics and learn more great things to achieve our dreams. Sometimes, teachers are very tired from doing their work. Sometimes, they work even if they are sick. Teachers give their best to teach us because he/she loves us. I am very proud to all the teachers especially those who cares, who are very kind and to give advice to their students in order to make their lives better. Sometimes, other teachers are very strict to their students. But, I know teachers do that to discipline us. Well, it’s not wrong to discipline us, it’s because teachers loves us. They care about us. They don’t want us to do bad things. They are not angry!! Teachers want us to be happy, so we must be proud to all the teachers. That’s what I like about them, being a teacher and being a hero to all of us.

All teachers inspire and touch our lives. All teachers love their students. Being a teacher, they treat us as their children. Teachers care about their students. They make our mistakes right. They save us from doing bad things that can make our lives miserable. And that’s what you call hero.
